The snowball Platko is the cheerful mascot of the Adriatic Slalom. The most common and immediate reaction to snow is to form and throw snowballs. It is the earliest form of recreation with and on snow, an activity for every age, time and skill level. Platko is especially close to children, because throwing snowballs is what all children enjoy with a smile on their faces.
Although its design is simple, Platko can take different forms: snowman, Adriatic Slalom skier or it can be simply splattered on the surface. Platko was named after the venue of the Slalom, the popular winter recreational centre of Platak.
